IN THE COMMUNITY
Labone Castleside are a great supporter of our local community and this page shows some of the things we do
Community Partnership
At Labone Castleside we recognise the value of working closely with the community. At the centre of most communities are the schools and colleges which we rely on to provide us with the talent to carry on the development of our business.
We support and nurture young talent, not only by supporting after school events, but by also working closely with Derwentside College in identifying and developing suitable local apprentices, helping to prepare these individuals for their working lives.

Blackfyne Bullets
Labone Castleside believes in supporting the community where possible, whether supporting local Colleges, Apprentice or even charities.
We support an under 17’s Premier Division local football team called the Blackfyne Bullets.

Charity Work
Many of our staff enjoy being able to give back to society and one of the most effective ways we have found is to participate in local charity events or raise money for local charities.
Two of our favourite charities over the years have been the Treetops Children’s ward at the university hospital in Durham and St Benedict’s Hospice for Palliative care both do amazing jobs looking after people who may be less fortunate than ourselves and we’re proud to be supporters.
