Simple and complex multi-part assembly units are built to customer requirements. Assist and error check equipment is incorporated into the assembly operation to ensure all critical aspects of the finished products are built and perform to the required specifications.
3D SCANNING & CAD
Our ‘Creaform Handyscan 700’ uses the latest laser triangulation technology to 3D scan a wide variety of mechanical or plastic parts, to provide highly accurate measurements in real-life conditions, regardless of environmental conditions, part set-up, or user ability, to get unprecedented accuracy, highly reliability and accurate solutions for quality control and inspection, either onsite or at customer premises.
Labone have the ability to supply 3D printed parts using our Leapfrog Creatr HS dual colour 3D Printer with a build volume of 13.6L [280 x 270 x 180mm] Layer height/resolution of up to 20 microns. Capable of printing various material including Nylon And ABS This allows a better understanding of the product and assists with concurrent designs of packaging, jigs and fixtures.
Labone have established relationships with UK toolmaking companies, who provide high quality, competitively priced Chinese manufactured tools. Labone develop the correct tool configurations during design for manufacture using MouldFlow Analysis, which enables guaranteed tool performance during series production

Labone Castleside fully utilise online customer portals for submitting, responses to requests for Quotations, Engineering Change Requests, PPAP Document and updating company data. This enables Labone to provide quick and efficient answers to our customers’ requirements, within specified deadlines.
From initial receipt of RFQ and CAD models, we identify what is required to supply the product adequately protected and with the best logistical solution that fits our customer’s needs. Optimising packing methods using the latest designs with textiles or vac trays ensures that we deliver what our customers require.
All customers require different labeling solutions. Whether it is Code 39, 2D or QR barcodes we have the ability to develop any of these with a view to designing internal, external box labels, pallet or product labels. We use a barcoded verification process to ensure we can trace each box.
EDI and ASN’s are part of the Service we provide to all customers; they are directly linked to our ERP system ensuring accuracy on schedule receipt and immediate notification of goods in transit.
This process uses ink layers that are directly applied to a surface. Normally this is a secondary operation to plastic moulding and is used in many industrial sectors including medical and automotive amongst others.
